Our Review

The Frederick House Hotel offers a lovely combination of a handsome Georgian façade and a cosy, homely interior. It’s a very affordable property, yet being housed in such a traditional building it is able to offer good-sized rooms with high ceilings. Many guests appreciate being able to cross the road first thing each morning to enjoy a hearty Scottish breakfast in the very chic Rick’s Restaurant.

Lovely location, centre of city.... ideally situated ... well situated ... Walk from airlink bus stop on Waverley Bridge takes 15mins some uphill ... central ... in the heart of the city.... very central ... The hotel was very central ... superb, central location... Slap bang in the middle of Edinburgh ... Walking distance from train station and princes st/rose st ... in a great location... just off the main street... Within easy walking distance of the railway station... The hotel is in a great location... highly recommended for people who want to be situated in the city center. ...
