The Best Western Edinburgh is housed in a former maternity hospital, and provides modern accommodation within a traditional listed building. The hotel is 10-15 minutes' walk from Princes Street and the Castle, while there are restaurants and bars close by to enjoy. Guest rooms are clean and modern, with standard facilities. Guests can relax in the hotel bar area, or enjoy a meal in the bistro if they're too tired after a busy day out. The Edinburgh City is an ideal base in Central Edinburgh from which to ‘work or play’.

Surrounded by the very best of Edinburgh, close to all the major attractions including Edinburgh Castle, Prince Street shopping, the Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace, and great new modern attractions at Edinburgh Quayside and the ‘Quarter Mile’. Close to the resurgent Grassmarket, full of great pubs, boutique shops and restaurants, and Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC). It is within easy walking distance of Edinburgh’s top theatres, world class museums and art galleries.

     Location good but the entrance was down an alley. ...             easy walking distance of city centre attractions...             Very nice area ...             close to town and only ten minute walk from the hotel to the Grass Market ...             alot of traffic/street noise at night...             About a 20 minute walk to centre of Edingurgh ...             We went too tatoo, so location very good....             No more than a 15 Minute walk from 90% of the City's attractions. ...             a little bit of walk to Prince's Street and the Royal Mile if you have children with you....             For adults it is not a problem at all....
