Great excellent modern Hotel in central Edinburgh.
Top Tip
Great location close to the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Princess Street a stroll away. Excellent very close to the Festival Theatre and choice of restaurants and bars in the area. Further, a short stroll to the Grassmarket area and Hollyrood/Scottish Parliament campus. In short a great springboard for Edinburgh's sights and sounds.

The bathroom was not as clean as we would have expeceted and the breakfast sausages were grisley. All else was fine. We had a pleasant stay.
Top Tip
There are plenty fantastic drinking venues and tourist attractions in that area. There is lots to do and so little time to do it in.

4 night stay. Hotel very clean, bed comfy and staff pleasant. Excelent choice at breakfast. Good location for theatre and restaurants. Only down was we were not told that the hotel imposes a £12 per night car park charge prior to use and we were asked to pay £36 on departure. Considering we parked and got the car park 'key' on two separate occasions we thought that this should have been mentioned (nothing in hotel literature or advertisements either)after pointing this out the receptionist agreed and we did not pay the charge.
Top Tip
Excellent Indian tapas restuarant called Mother India a few blocks away on Infirmary Street - very busy - booking essential.

Great location & super room. I don't often sleep the first night away from home anywhere, but the bed was super comfy & a kingsize! Nice little touches like toiletries, great value for £55 a night!
Top Tip
Do a Ghost Walk, great fun.

I would not hesitate to return to this hotel. It proved to be a very enjoyable stay as a result of what was offered by the hotel. About 7 minutes walk from Royal Mile, 10 minutes from Princess Street. Only problem is as there is an incline to and from the aforementioned streets it can be a little difficult for those who have walking difficulties
