The George Hotel offers you the chance to stay amid the Georgian splendour of Edinburgh’s New Town, yet still be close to Princes Street, the Castle and the Royal Mile. The hotel’s Grade II-listed façade has been impeccably preserved and inside there is a wonderful air of contemporary chic. The George Hotel does everything with style which is why it was voted Best Hotel in Edinburgh at the Scottish Hotel Awards 2011.

The hotel is ideally located amid the Georgian splendour of Edinburgh's New Town, but is also just two minute's walk from Princes Street, where the Castle and Old Town dominate the skyline. It is surrounded by excellent bars, clubs, shops and restaurants.

fantastic location... very good central location in the New Town just a few minutes stroll from Waverley Station.... Very good location... excellent location ... within walking distance of most major sites... this hotel is in an ideal location ... in the heart of things ... Superb location....
