The first Malmaison in the UK, this hotel somehow manages to combine the impeccable style of a true boutique hotel with a warm, friendly atmosphere. Guests really love the fact that the uniquely designed rooms are spacious but cosy. They also appreciate the art work that adorns the walls and the fresh, inventive food served in the brasserie.
A boutique property situated on Leith’s waterfront, this hotel was the first ever Malmaison in the UK. Its owners therefore sometimes jokingly refer to it as “the mother of all Mals.” With its resplendent central clock tower it has managed to combine tradition and contemporary style. Upon entering, guests are impressed by the grand staircase and slinky sofas in the lobby. The 100 rooms retain an individual design while exuding Malmaison’s unique charm. They have all the amenities you would require and are adorned by original artworks. Guests can dine in the hotels Bar and Brasserie, where they can enjoy French style cuisine. There’s also a well-stocked cellar and the opportunity to experience some alfresco dining or drinking on the lively terrace (weather permitting.)
