Our Review

The Royal Terrace Hotel offers a wonderful chance to savour the historical elegance of the Georgian era, just a few steps from the modern designer boutiques of Princes Street and its surroundings. It is also very rare among Edinburgh hotels in having its own private, landscaped garden, where you can sit out during the summer months and savour a pre-dinner cocktail after a hard day’s sightseeing.

The hotel is located 5 minutes' walk from Princes Street, close to the Playhouse. Only a short walk from the main shopping area of Edinburgh, they are situated on a quiet, tree lined street, providing you with a quiet and peaceful retreat. The Royal Terrace Hotel is also just 10 minutes' walk from the Old Town of Edinburgh and allows easy access from Waverley Train Station and Edinburgh Airport.

     CLOSE TO PLAYHOUSE THEATRE...             Situated on a lovely quiet avenue ...             5 minutes walk from the royal mile & railway station...             The theatre was only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel...             ideal location! ...             close to Playhouse. ...             Hotel is great location...             perfect location ...              just a few minutes walk from the centre of Edinburgh...             ideal to access the city...             Handy for the theatre....             Lovely quiet location...             centrally situated yet in a quiet terrace ...             close to theatre and princess st....             Princes St 15 min walk and all other amneties close at hand...             Good central location...
