Although not a huge hotel, it catered for our needs. The hotel is right on the Royal Mile so you can't get any more central. The staff were helpful and friendly. Each of the rooms are individually designed around famous Scots which is different from the norm. Would definitely recommend it.

Top Tip:
As the hotel is more or less in the middle of the Royal Mile, on one side there is the Parliament building (awful looking), Holyrood Palace & park and Arthurs Seat. On the other side you have the shops, the castle, etc. Plenty to see and do. We visited Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh Zoo, the Dungeons. You have to like walking....a lot!! Loved the Filling Station restaurant and Hard Rock Cafe. Plenty of sights to see just walking around.
